Cancellation Policy

At Berenice’s Hair, every appointment is reserved exclusively for you.
We value your time and the time of every guest, so we kindly ask for advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Our goal is to maintain a respectful balance between flexibility and fairness while ensuring each custom project receives the care and preparation it deserves.

Consultations

A $50 consultation fee is required at the time of booking.
This payment secures your consultation appointment and allows us to prepare personalized recommendations and hair samples in advance.

Please note that this consultation fee is non-applicable toward future services and does not count as a deposit for a new set of hair extensions, hair system, or topper.

Cancellations

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment changes or cancellations.

Appointment payments and deposits are fully refundable for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance, except when the cancellation forms part of further rescheduling after the one allowed reschedule, or when separate custom hair-order terms apply.
For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, only the required appointment deposit is non-refundable. Any amount paid above that deposit will be refunded.
For consultations cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment, the $50 consultation fee is non-refundable.

We appreciate your understanding — this policy helps us accommodate other clients on our waiting list and ensures fair scheduling for all guests.

Cancellation of Custom Hair Orders

Once a new set of hair extensions, hair system, or topper has been confirmed and accepted under a proposal, the materials are custom-ordered and prepared specifically for you.

Because these are personalized and cannot be repurposed, all such custom hair orders and proposal deposits are non-refundable, even if the appointment is later cancelled.

Preparation, ordering, and crafting costs are incurred immediately upon acceptance of the proposal and, therefore, cannot be reversed.

Rescheduling

Each appointment may be rescheduled once, provided the request is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Your appointment payment or deposit will transfer to the new appointment for this reschedule.

After one allowed reschedule, every further reschedule is treated as a cancellation. Only the required appointment deposit is non-refundable and will not transfer to another appointment, regardless of how much notice is given. Any amount paid above that deposit will be refunded.

Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment are treated as late cancellations. Only the required appointment deposit is forfeited, and any amount paid above it will be refunded.

For consultations, the $50 fee is non-refundable for rescheduling requested less than 24 hours before the appointment or for any reschedule after the first allowed reschedule.

Custom hair-order payments and deposits remain subject to the separate Cancellation of Custom Hair Orders terms. These terms are set out in your Proposal/Agreement document.

Late Arrivals & No-Shows

Please arrive on time to ensure you receive your full service.
Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in your appointment being shortened or rescheduled, and deposits may be forfeited.

Clients who do not show up without notice will forfeit their payment or deposit entirely.
